"CLERICAL CELIBACY" OCCURS.
Nothing else can be accepted.
NO OTHER RELIGION IN THE WORLD HAS ANYTHING AT ALL LIKE AN INSISTENCE ON CLERICAL CELIBACY!
Even if the priest in the pulpit does not say that the laity and parishioners must be celibate - his profession that it is a holy practise for him, psychologically encourages that belief in others.
Another reason to utterly neutralize this total lie a.s.a.p.
On the child abuse issue alone I should not have to say a word.

THE TRUTH is that Clerical Celibacy DESTROYED the Roman Catholic Church ten centuries ago - turning it into merely a part of the Feudal system.

Compulsory Clerical Celibacy? Er. ARE YOU JOKING. It has no such things. It was a scam to keep the church as the landowners of the Pope. A scam.

"This battle for the foundation of papal supremacy is connected with his championship of compulsory celibacy among the clergy .......... "
Gregory VII (effectively) INTRODUCED the LIE of celibacy of the priesthood into the Church.
He enforced this totally silly and evil measure across the Church with rigour!
He did it to secure the power of the Papacy and the Church within the Feudal System.
But it as good as destroyed Christianity - even then!

For example - in the case of men - does this include - "knocking one off over a porno mag after Banzai has finished on a Saturday night?"

In his book "Reason and Emotion", John MacMurray discusses the concept of this term - CHASTITY - meaning APPROPRIATE USAGE of one's sexual nature rather than any kind of suppression of it - which is probably highly impossible!
He was a great filosofer - and a bridge between Existentialism and Analytic filosofy.
